Crockpot Thick & Creamy Hot Chocolate

If you read my last blog post, you know all about the fun we had at Bella’s Pancakes & Pajamas party. Such a fun theme – everyone should definitely consider it for their next party!

And, if you decide to go with it, make sure you add this to the menu. The picture may not be very descriptive, but the ingredient list sure is. Thick and creamy doesn’t even describe this deliciousness.

This would also be perfect for Halloween night, after a few hours of trick-or-treating…Christmas morning…after a long day of skiing…or on football day!

I had some leftover and my niece suggested freezing it. So I did. And now I’m on another round of Whole30 and have to stare at it longingly in my freezer. Stay tuned for what the result is…even though it’ll be about a month from now 🙁

Crockpot Thick & Creamy Hot Chocolate
from Crockpot Ladies

2 cups heavy cream
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
6 cups whole milk
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

Combine all ingredients in crockpot and stir. Cook on low for about 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Serve with mini marshmallows or whipped cream.

Makes 8-10 servings.
