Easy Glazed Carrots

Even though it’s Thanksgiving week, I couldn’t wait any longer to get a taste of the traditional holiday foods. I needed something yesterday…sort of a quicker version of the real deal. So I thought posting one of my super easy side dishes might come in handy for some of you for the real Turkey Day.


One of my old favorites…it comes together in no time and it’s so, so good. Great for a weeknight side.

And yeah, that’s canned cranberry sauce. Don’t judge. The real deal will be on the plate later this week.


Oh and my the way, it’s not just Thanksgiving week. Today is my 8th wedding anniversary 🙂


Happy anniversary, honey! Now if only I knew what I was cooking tonight…hmmm…

Easy Glazed Carrots

2 cups baby carrots
3/4 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons butter
1 cup water
salt and pepper to taste

Throw all ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook for around 20-25 minutes. Add a little more butter if liquid needs to be thicker. That’s it!
