Grilled Pattypan Squash

Do you have a local farmers market? It’s one of the best things about this time of year. Fresh farm produce rocks. And what’s great is that you can usually find things that aren’t at the grocery store. Like pattypan squash.

There it is, right there. Like a wide, fat, light zucchini. And that’s exactly what you treat it as. Don’t peel it. Just slice it, brush with extra virgin olive oil, season with salt and pepper (and a little garlic powder), and throw it on the grill.

Done.
