Tilapia al Ajillo (Garlic Tilapia)

I don’t care what anyone says…there’s no such thing as too much garlic. If you’re a regular reader of my blog, you know this is one of my many food related mantras. That and also that you can always use another go-to quick and easy meal.

So grab a piece of gum and make this soon.

Tilapia al Ajillo (Garlic Tilapia)

4 tilapia filets
6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
fresh parsley for garnish
lemon for serving

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Season fish with salt and pepper. Add fish to pan. After 1-2 minutes, add garlic.

Continue cooking another few minutes, then flip. Fry until cooked through. Garlic should be dark golden brown – if it starts to burn, spoon it on top of fish so it’s not directly in contact with heat.

Garnish with parsley and squeeze fresh lemon juice on top before serving.
